About the Kapolei Heritage Center (KHC)
Kapolei Heritage Center
At the heart of Kapolei, the Kapolei Heritage Center (KHC) serves as a place for community, culture, education, and connection. Operated by the Kapolei Community Development Corporation (KCDC), the Center grew from the vision of Kapolei homestead leaders who came together in 2008 to strengthen and support the families and communities they serve.
Today, the Kapolei Heritage Center continues that vision by providing a welcoming space for culturally relevant programs, educational opportunities, community gatherings, and events that enrich the lives of Kapolei residents. The Center stands as a reflection of the community’s dedication to preserving heritage, building connections, and creating opportunities for generations to come.
Facilities for Our Community
The Kapolei Heritage Center offers flexible spaces available to residents of the Maluʻōhai, Kaupeʻa, Kānehili, and Kaʻuluokahaʻi homestead communities at discounted community rates.
Our facilities include:

Classroom 1 – A flexible space for classes, meetings, workshops, and small gatherings.

Classroom 2 – An additional multi-purpose space ideal for educational programs, meetings, and community activities.

Commercial Kitchen – A fully equipped kitchen designed for cooking classes, food preparation, workshops, and other approved culinary activities.

Outdoor venue — A welcoming space designed for celebrations, gatherings, and special moments with family and community.

HOW TO BOOK THE CLASSROOMS OR THE KITCHEN
Step 1: Review KHC Rules, Rates & Policies
Step 2: Email KCDC to Request Your Date & Time
Email info@kapoleiheritage.org with your requested rental date, time, and the space you would like to reserve.

Submitting a request does not guarantee or secure your reservation. Your rental is only confirmed once KCDC staff has provided confirmation and the required booking steps have been completed.
Step 4: Complete the Booking Process
Once availability is confirmed, KCDC staff will provide the next steps to complete your rental, including any required paperwork, payment, and/or payment authorization.
